Due to safety restrictions, young people under the age of 18 and children are not allowed to visit the Jinping Underground Laboratory. Participants who have previously registered young people under 18 or children as accompanying persons are requested to make modifications and updates using the link in the successful registration email. (1) During the visit day (mornings of the 24th and 30th), visits to the China Jinping Underground Laboratory will be arranged, with a daily limit of 180 people.
(2) Each day, there will be two batches of shuttle buses departing at staggered times. We will arrange lunch at CJPL.
The first batch of 100 people will depart at 8:00 a.m. (by Bus 1, Bus 2, Bus 3, Bus 4, Bus 5, Bus 6) and return to Qionghai Hotel at 4:30 p.m.
The second batch of 100 people will depart at 9:20 a.m. (by Bus 7, Bus 8, Bus 9, Bus 10, Bus 11, Bus 12) and return to Qionghai Hotel at 6:00 p.m.
(3) Since Jinping is located in a region prone to geological disasters in Sichuan, if there is a warning of heavy rain or other geological disasters on the reception day, the itinerary will be adjusted in a timely manner in advance based on the weather forecast. If the itinerary on the 24th is canceled due to weather reasons, it can be rescheduled to the 30th. If the weather forecast shows heavy rain on the 30th, the itinerary can be adjusted to the afternoon of the 29th, retaining only the laboratory visit and excluding the dam research and dining arrangements.
